I'm Confused...

I've just conformed and got myself a Twitter page, but damned if I know how to use it! I've added a load of pages to follow, but I'm not sure how I blog myself? Can I surely only use 140 characters?!

Studio shoot

OK, so I'm planning on doing my first real Studio photo shoot tomorrow. I've got everything organised but I still need to work out what lighting I'm going to use. Finger's crossed that everything goes right for me!! I'll report back tomorrow with hopefully some amazing images to share. Stress here I come!

Shopping.

So I did it.

Don't know how I managed it... But I spent a total of £686.11 on this one photo shoot. Of which about £50 worth I won't be able to return...

And all of it is probably too small for me to wear anyway!

Damn.

My hands hurt from carrying the bags... Damn.

Shopping.

So tomorrow I have to go into town and spend lots of money on clothes I am never going to wear. How Fun.

Don't get me wrong, its not that I don't want to wear them, but I'm having to buy them for a photoshoot, for a model who is 1-2 sizes smaller than me. (Although she does have the same size feet!! =] )

Torture right?

Topshop, River Island, American Apparel, H&M... all places I can't afford to shop at normally... but would love to. So I get to dress my gorgeous model Abbie up in all these very lovely expensive clothes... and then return them to the store.

Horror!!

So my first Aztec photo shoot is planned for Monday afternoon, so look out for photos on Tuesday or even, if your lucky, Monday night!

This one is for Harper's Bazaar magazine (I wish!) so it's quite toned down and commercialised, but wait for the next shoot for Wonderland magazine that will be a lot crazier!

Serj Tankian's Symphony album.

Classical instruments with heavy metal?? Thumbs Up!!

But... I don't really think Serj has picked the right orchestra to collaborate with him.

I like the idea of this colloboration and I love Serj's original album Empty Walls, but this new version is just not for me.

This bar/resturant is brilliant.

Converted from a Church in the busy center of Liverpool, this club gives you everything you could ask for. The food is brilliant, the music is brilliant, and even the Latino dancers are amazing! The whole night is full of entertainment for the family (over 18's only).

Plus even if you do go for the drinks, try the deserts. You wont regret it!

Aztec prints.

Soon to come is my university work on Aztec styling so watch this space...!!

I'm really loving what I've found out and about on the high street, including belts, tops, jackets, shoes and bags!

American Apparel have a great selection of a brilliant Aztec print, available in red and black, and black and white, you can get your hands on this print in dress form, bikini form, skirt form or as leggins!

Topshop have a lot of great shoes and jewellery that can be used in this trend, and River Island have a few fantastic pieces!

Even fashion straggler New Look has caught on to this trend quickly, and although there's not a lot in the stores yet, these Leggins are a must have!

I know theres been a lot more unusual talent in the past few years appearing on our runways, but these guys and girls are a lot different to Agyness Dean.

Sporting tattoo's, dreadlocks and piercing, these professionals are really wowing me at the moment.

Tribute to Alexander McQueen

Long overdue, I'm finally paying my final tribute to McQueen and his brilliant work.

He was a brilliant man who will sorely be missed by the fashion world.

I am loving...

For a while now, the new store in town has been creeping up in the popularity polls amongst the younger generations of Manchester!

Everywhere I go I now see kids wearing Iron Fist, Criminal Damage, Famous Stars and Straps and other great brands that Pulp sells.

Of course, I love these brands too. If only I could afford to shop there all the time!!
