So the Liverpool Vintage Fair has been and gone, and it was a great day! Here are some of the fair highlights for all those that couldn't make it!
First of all, one of my personal favourites, was Sophie's Buttercup Bakery which satisfied my sweet tooth many times through out the day!
From cupcakes and brownies to large sponge cakes, Sophie's bakery is perfect, and as a big fan of cake, I suggest you try it! Check them out on Facebook here for more information.
Next up was the second confectionary stall at the fair which also did sandwiches and other tasty bits as well as cakes! The Italian Cake Shop is in Liverpool, but I've unfortuantely not got any other information about them, if you have please comment and share the wonder that is this shop! Everyone enjoyed the Coffee and walnut, cranberry or spiced pineapple sponge cakes, and I really enjoyed my chicken and bacon sandwich with it's perfectly blending italian herbs.
Next up, I had to look at the jewellery stores, and Queen of Accessories have some beautiful pieces that deserve a good home! Check them out here.
Bland, Made to measure vintage clothes are made completely of vintage fabrics, and as the name suggests, are completely made to measure, you can chose your style, your fabric and have it fit your shape perfectly!
Unfortunately again, I don't have any information on this brilliant store! But I THINK it may be on Bond st in Liverpool (just next to central station), so keep your eyes open!
Memoir are another vintage fashion store, which features some gorgeous glittery pieces that would be perfect teamed with a great hat, long socks and brogues!
You can find them on the 1st floor of Quiggins (Grand Central), in Liverpool.
Now, this next shop I fell in love with, and I am gutted I couldn't afford to buy anything! (Thats due to my own financial situation, definately not because they were over priced!) All handmade, Little Miss Delicious Jewellery features everything from ice creams, cookies and cupcakes to smiley pieces of toast and hearts, in ring form, necklaces, hair grips and earrings. Check them out here. Lemon Flirt Jewellery are a fresh look at vintage, with pearls and classic pendants featured in a modern style.
Corazoncito Rojo is a Mexican influenced art and craft store, which features some lovely pieces, whether they are for gifts, for display or for use, this shop is great for little Mexican bits! Check them out on Facebook here.
OK so if you like broaches, and those little round things with a woman's head on (what are they called again?) then this next store, Hope and Winkle is for you! Of Course, they do more then just that!!
Passion Jewellery was another of my personal favourites, with gorgeous floral necklaces, feathered headbands, butterflies and pearl earrings, you can't go wrong in this store.
Little Red Vintage at 74 Bold Street, has some beautiful floral pieces amongst the few items I had chance to look at! If you like vintage, definately check them out, with a great selection scarves too, you'll definately find something you like!
Flashback Boutique was the main attraction of the fair, joined with the organisers, a £10 fill your bag offer went off with a bang, with people literally stuffing their bags with as much as possible!
On July the 1st Flashback Boutique and Boudoir Boutique are hosting a Vintage Fashion Show featuring all of their own garments at Circo, on the Albert Dock in Liverpool.
Open castings were at the show on saturday, we had 87 people trying out, and by the looks of it, we'll have a great looking bunch for the show!
If you missed out, where were you?!
I'm going to keep you all updated on future events around the north west, and will bring lots of photo's from the show in July too! Keep tuning in for more!
Just as a last note, I'm very sorry about the poor quality of some of the photos from the event, I didn't have a lot of time so each photo was quickly taken during a break!
